All work carried out by HLB Ashvir is carried out in accordance with quality control standards as stipulated by International Quality Control Standard 1, issued by the International Federation of Accountants, which provides a framework on maintaining an adequate system of quality control over all aspects of professional work.

The firm, directly and through the international resources of HLB International, has developed Manuals in all areas of its operations including administration, thereby ensuring that quality control remains an integral component of our client service objectives.

Peer Review

HLB International member firms undergo a peer review once every three years. In addition, the firm has developed internal mechanisms to conduct formal reviews, thereby ensuring compliance to internal procedures and constant updating of these procedures to reflect emerging best practices. The firm is also subject to reviews by professional bodies of which the partners/directors are members.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

We at HLB Ashvir believe that our human capital is crucial to our success. Accordingly, partners, directors and staff of the firm are required to undergo CPD, as a minimum, to fulfil the requirements of the professional bodies of which they are members. The firm provides CPD to all its personnel through participation in in-house seminars, regional and international conferences and seminars organised by recognised training institutions. It is through this that we ensure professional competence and enhance the professional development of our human capital.
